This week in Greek
The year is winding down and the seniors of the Greek community are becoming alumni. Chapters need new members to keep their chapters going. We need new leaders, new faces, and new sisters and brothers to enter in our double doors and be a part of something huge.
Recruitment for the Greek Community is a big thing at the University of Cincinnati. This year recruitment for sororities will be from October 20- 24, 2012. During these four exciting days the girls will be learning about each and every sorority, and also meet some of the great actives that could potentially be your sisters.
After each day of recruitment, you acknowledge preference for your favorite sororities and the sororities will do the same for each lovely woman that is going through recruitment. Get excited ladies about seeing the eight amazing sororities that are on our campus. These sororities are Chi Omega, Delta Delta Delta, Gamma Phi Beta, Kappa Alpha Theta, Kappa Delta, Kappa Kappa Gamma, Phi Beta Phi, and last but not least, Theta Phi Alpha.
Most fraternities recruit all year around. September 30 through October 7, 2012 is when most of the fraternities host many of their recruitment events and activities at University of Cincinnati. Most men think that you want to go to the fraternity that has the best party during recruitment. But according to fraternity bylaws they are not allowed to have any type of alcohol during the recruitment process.
They then offer you as a potential pledge a "bid" and you can pick between each "bid" that you receive.
Men at the University of Cincinnati, get excited to maybe be a member of any of these fraternities: Alpha Chi Rho, Alpha Epsilon Pi, Alpha Sigma Phi, Alpha Tau Omega, Beta Theta Pi, Delta Chi, Delta Tau Delta, Phi Gamma Delta, Lambda Chi Alpha, Phi Delta Theta, Phi Kappa Tau, Phi Kappa Theta, Pi Kappa Alpha, Pi Kappa Phi, Sigma Alpha Epsilon, Sigma Chi, Sigma Phi Epsilon, Tau Kappa Epsilon, and last but not least, Triangle.
So, ladies and gentlemen of the University of Cincinnati, get excited about the upcoming recruitment during the 2012-2013 fall semesters.
