3G Has Been Burned, 4G Has Been Born
Leave 3G in the dust and step into the 4G light is what they say, right? We all know technology standards are constantly changing and always moving towards the "new" hot thing. Recently, that trendy hot topic has become 4G phones and 4G internet services. What is 4G you ask? It's a question that many of us have asked; did we even know what 3G meant? Well, I'm here to explain because I have found out what the big hype is with 4G technologies, and I liked what I learned. 4G is the fourth generation of mobile communications and is called the "ultra mobile broadband" which refers to how fast data becomes available on a wireless network.
The 4G phenomena was created in 2008 and by 2011 had become the leader over the 3G network. The 4G network has been tested and proven to not only run faster than 3G but also has a much larger scale (4 is bigger than 3!). This means that 4G creates an 'always on' affect so that it becomes easier and more convenient to connect to voice calls, media streaming, and internet surfing. Another great tool that 4G brings is that downloading speeds are incredible. The compatibility over the 4G network is greater than the compatibility with a 3G network; so no more of that irritated waiting for songs, movies, or documents to download. With a 4G network you will now be able to access HD video and high-data wireless channels, something you were unable to do on the 3G network.
There are many 4G devices being offered and there will definitely be more to come. Currently many people are still connected to 3G networks due to the lack of understanding what 4G is all about, especially for those unwilling to change. I say believe in the hype because 4G technology is an amazing advancement in speed and mobile technology that will only get better. Talk is that 5G networks will be available by the year 2020. A new mobile generation is said to come out every 10 years since the 1G can out in 1981, so be on the lookout for even more advancement.
