Writing Center Announces Scary Story Winners
The UCBA Writing Center has announced winners of its Scary Story Writing contest, coordinated by Reading Tutor Nancy Dick. The contest was an opportunity for UCBA students to use their writing skills around Halloween time to compete for prizes offered by the Writing Center.
The results were very close. First Place went to Rachel Hackney, whose story is titled "The Patient." There was a tie for Second Place between Kaitlin Salyers ("I Promise You") and Vivian Miller ("Untitled").
These stories can be found hanging decoratively on the bulletin board outside of the Writing Center (Muntz 324) and are expected to be in the "Blue Ash Review" this spring.
Also in the spring, be on the lookout for another story writing contest sponsored by the UCBA Writing Center.
