Students Get Midterm Stress Relief

By Morgan Richmond
On March 28, 2013

During the week of March 11, the UCBA Student Life Office held its annual "Midterm Stress Relief Week" for Spring Semester. The main goal of the weeklong event is to help students have a bit of fun and relaxation before or during midterm exams.
This semester there were two events and one display table. The first event, Zumba, was held on March 11. From 12-2 p.m. students gathered in Muntz 119 to dance with others, including two instructors from Dare to Dance studio, who led the event.
The second event, Lazy Thursday, was held on March 14 from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. in Muntz lobby. For this event students were encouraged to wear anything lazy, meaning sweats, pajamas, or anything else that's comfortable.
Bananas and water were provided to students, along with handouts. The display table was located in front of OneStop in Muntz lobby and was up every day of the week with study tips and light jokes for students.
