Flacco Becomes Highest Paid Quarterback in NFL History

By James Crawford
On March 28, 2013

The Baltimore Ravens' Joe Flacco became the highest paid NFL quarterback in history last Monday. The Ravens gave him a contract worth $120 million.
However, Flacco did not get this deal simply because he won the Super Bowl and did not throw any interceptions during the post season. Flacco believes he is worth the big money.
In 2012 he turned down a contract of $15 million dollars going into the final year of his old contract. And now he is becoming a superstar, and his play is showing it.
This is Joe Flacco's time, and he has to show everyone that he got this deal for a reason. Even if he had not won the Super Bowl, he still thinks he is worth that much money.
We will see if he is worth it in years to come if he continues his play and becomes one of the greats.
