Another "Necessary" War on the Horizon?
The United States has been preparing for a war with Iran for years, and in fact tried to instigate one in 2007, under President Bush.
This was never reported by the mainstream media, yet it is an important piece of evidence to look at when considering whether Iran actually poses a threat. The mainstream media says that Iran does indeed pose a threat to "national security."
We heard this before with Iraq. Remember that the media (and Bush Administration) continually used the term "Weapons of Mass Destruction," despite the fact that they didn't exist?
Repeat a key phrase long enough, and people will start to believe it. The evidence I have gathered will demonstrate that America plans on going to war with Iran based entirely on propaganda and no direct threat.
"Five years ago, an American woman serving in Bahrain single handedly stopped the United States government from a criminal attack on Iran and a series of 'false flag' terror attacks on American troops and ships in the region."
This is the headline of an article by Gordon Duff of Veterans Today. Gwyneth Todd, former member of President Clinton's National Security Council and top Middle East advisor, blew the whistle on the false flag operation, which led to her having to flee to Australia.
According to Todd, the plan, hatched by Vice President Dick Cheney and other Bush Administration White House officials, including Karl Rove, Paul Wolfowitz and Richard Clarke, was to land American troops in Iran and then create phony radio traffic simulating an Iranian attack in order to push America into authorizing hostilities that they, themselves, had perpetrated as part of a conspiracy.
Todd was able to stop this from happening by contacting ranking supporters within the Navy and US government to whom she reported this attempt at terrorism and an unauthorized invasion. Her husband, an official in the Australian Navy, was able to help her escape unharmed to Australia.
This plan was similar to The Gulf of Tonkin, when America created an attack by North Vietnam as a jumping off point for a 10-year war. Todd's story was never reported by the mainstream media, and for her act of true heroism and patriotism, Gwenyth Todd was forced to flee the country and currently lives in fear for her life.
Adolf Hitler's propaganda minister, Joseph Goebbels, said, "If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it."
This was a tactic used in the war with Iraq. The term "Weapons of Mass Destruction" was used over and over again, even though it became known that they had never existed.
This time around, the phrase is that Iran's leader wants to "wipe Israel off the map." All the news networks report this, yet, if you take the time to actually read the speech that they are referring to, you will find that Mahmoud Ahmadinejad never said those words.
As Jonathon Steele of The Guardian clarifies in his article "If Iran is ready to talk, the United States must do so unconditionally," "The Iranian president was quoting an ancient statement by Iran's first Islamist leader, the late Ayatollah Khomeini, that 'this regime occupying Jerusalem must vanish from the page of time' just as the Shah's regime in Iran had vanished...He was not making a military threat. He was calling for an end to the occupation of Jerusalem at some point in the future. The 'page of time' phrase suggests he did not expect it to happen soon."
As an aspiring investigative journalist, I am shocked at the media's absolute bias and inaccurate coverage of the situation with Iran.
War should always be the last resort. Yet with the way Iran is being discussed on television and in the news, it seems that the U.S government is set on military action.
This comes at a time when suicides have never been higher in the military and at a time when our country is in debt by trillions of dollars. Iran hasn't attacked anyone in over 200 years.
Is it such a crime for them to want to have the ability to defend themselves with nuclear weapons, considering all the countries that neighbor them have nuclear weapons themselves?
