College Dedicates $4.5 Million Renovation
UCBA formally dedicated a $4.5 million renovation project during a special ceremony on September 30.
The Renovation Celebration featured a ribbon cutting and tours of the newly re-designed college library and the new Community Commons, Bleecker Street Café, and Campus Courtyard.
The $4.5 million renovation project was three years in development and covers more than 20,000 square feet in Muntz Hall. Architects took the old library space and completely re-designed it to create a brighter space that incorporates new technology and provides more flexibility for group or individual study. It also made room for the new café and Community Commons.
"It's a new day at UC Blue Ash College, said UCBA Dean, Dr. Cady Short-Thompson. "This renovation project is just part of the growth and enhancements we plan to better serve our growing student population, as well as our outstanding faculty and staff."
Also speaking during the ceremony were UC Executive Vice President, Dr. Ryan Hays; UC Blue Ash Professor, Dr. Robin Lightner; and UC Blue Ash Student Ambassador, Sam Naser.
