Advising Center Moves to New Location

By Henry Haskamp
On October 8, 2013

The UCBA Academic Advising Center has moved to a new location across from the Bookstore on the first floor of Muntz Hall.
According to UCBA Director of Academic Advising Mark Miller, the move is an effort to help make different departments operate more efficiently with ones they work closely with.
The hallway that the Advising Center has moved to has become a hallway of student services, Miller said, with Counseling next to Student Life, two offices that work together frequently, and the Bookstore all located in one area.
Miller indicated that the benefits for the Advising Center include having large cubicles with doors, more privacy, and avoiding non-advising traffic that they would get when they were at their previous location.
The Admissions Office has moved to the former location of the Advising Center to more closely work with the One Stop Office.
