Sports: Bengals Let Us Down...Again
As soon as you think the Cincinnati Bengals are going to pull out the victory, some way somehow they mess it up and end up losing the game.
On Sunday October 14, the Bengals played the Browns in Cleveland. The Browns' record coming into this game was 0-5, and the Bengals were 3-2. The Bengals ended the first half with a 14-7 lead.
As the second half started, the Browns came out a whole different team and forced the Bengals to commit three turnovers to seal a Cleveland victory, 34-24.
This game was very up and down because the momentum was always changing, due to big plays from both teams down the stretch. However, the Browns came through with a key win for their organization, and the Bengals took one on the chin.
The Browns go into their next game with a little momentum and the Bengals have now had back-to-back losses. This game showed how, no matter what a team's record is, it can still come out and play smash mouth football.
All in all the game was entertaining in spite of the outcome. Andy Dalton and A.J. Green had pretty good games. Also the Browns' defense and their quarterback, Brandon Weeden, had great games even though Weeden started slowly.
Football in both cities is taken very seriously, and the battle of Ohio was split this season 1-1. So next year there will be vengeance wanted by both teams.
