Throughout September and October, the UCBA Student Life Office will be sponsoring a series of information sessions on campus. Known as the You Connect Success Series, these events are geared toward student academic success.
On Wednesday, September 25, "Reading a College Textbook (Save Time, Read it Right the First Time)" will take place from 11 a.m. to noon. This session will give students the "tips and tricks" to effectively read textbooks.
"Constructing an Essay: Roadmap to a Successful Paper" will be on October 3, beginning at 12 p.m. Students will learn how to "construct an essay from start to finish."
The final date of the series, October 15, covers "Proper Documentation: Where it Comes from Matters." From noon to 1 p.m., students will explore the proper ways to cite sources in any form of writing.
All sessions will take place in Room 351 of Muntz Hall.
