Kyle's Movie Corner: Quite Simply the Most Beautiful Film Ever Made
We're back this week with a review of a box office blockbuster and one of the most visually striking movies ever made: "Gravity," starring George Clooney ("Ocean's 11-13," "O Brother, Where Art Thou?") and Sandra Bullock ("The Blindside," "Speed").
The movie revolves around bio-medical engineer Dr. Ryan Stone (Bullock) and veteran astronaut Matt Kowalski (Clooney), who together go on a routine space walk only to be faced with imminent danger and forced to make quick and hasty decisions that could mean life or death.
With Bullock and Clooney being two of the best actors in Hollywood, and the only actors that you see during the course of the film, the story is very dialogue driven with many scenes consisting of simple conversation between the two, a fact that really adds another element that other movies just don't have.
When Sandra Bullock is talking about her dead daughter, you as a viewer really believe that she lost her child in a horrible accident. That's just how good she is as an actress.
Apart from how well written the movies is, "Gravity" is without a doubt the most beautiful movie ever made. There's no other movie even close.
Everyone should go see it, strictly for the visual experience. You definitely have to see it.
