Student Life Office Makes a Difference

By Amanda Emerson
On October 31, 2011

The recent "Make a Difference Day," sponsored by the UCBA Student Life Office with the help of UCBA students, produced donations of 300 items of clothing and two large bags of food for needy area families.

The help doesn't have to end there, however. Students can continue to help out by staying updated with Student Life's various community events throughout the school year.

Are you stressing out about exams? The Student Life Office is offering an opportunity for students to relax at UCBA's "Midterm Stress Relief Break" on Wednesday, November 9 in the Muntz Lobby.

The stress relief, which will run from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., will feature professional chair massages provided by appointment only; be sure to add your name to the list in the Muntz Lobby between 10 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. the day of the event.

Student Life will also provide "brain" food, study skills tips, relaxation tips, and healthy ways to stay motivated and prepared throughout midterms.

For more information, contact Sarah Meagher at sarah.meagher@uc.edu or 513-936-1565 or Marcus Langford at marcus.langford@uc.edu or (513) 936-1531.
