Rachel Gibson's criminal romance Tangled Up in You is the perfect read to spice up your shelf life.
Maddie Dupree is a criminal novelist, whose main focus is on serial killers and twisted minds without a motive. But when she decides to go looking for answers to her past and her mother's untimely death in Truly, Idaho: her world is turned upside down.
She has sworn off men, among other things, for years, trying to strictly focus on her career and her novels. Then she meets Mick Hennessy, a black-haired, blue-eyed heart throb and the current owner of the bar where her mother was killed.
Once Mick finds out why Maddie is in town, he tries to steer clear of her, strictly because she is investigating the woman his mother murdered the same night she killed Mick's father and herself. Little does he know that she is the daughter of that woman.
He can't seem to stay away from her for long, and once the truth is unraveled, Maddie finds herself in more trouble than she bargained for in Truly.
