Feature Student: Sharita Bone-Till Fame Comes Calling
UC Blue Ash student Sharita L. Bone may be on a fast track to fame, but she has no illusions about needing to support herself in case fame doesn't come calling.
Although she is a model represented by Heyman Talent, Sharita is majoring in Advanced Medical Imaging Technology at UCBA—a huge career difference, considering the fact that she has been in movies, commercials, a TV show, fashion shows, and some theatre. But why not have something good to fall back on since showbiz is never guaranteed work?
When Sharita is not studying for an exam or auditioning for some work, she enjoys reading sci-fi, graphic novels, dark crime novels, humor, and mystery. She also enjoys writing, bluffing in some poker, and "dancing her face off."
Even though she describes herself as a "complete goofball," realistically she says she is just like everyone else and enjoys the small time she gets with family and friends. Languages also fascinate her.
Sharita worked on the set of George Clooney's "Ides of March" for a week of extremely long days as an extra, even though in the finished film she only appears for about two seconds, so you have to really look for her.
During the scene, viewers are likely to be pretty involved in the characters and not paying attention to what's going on around them. But with all her hard work, she had a blast with both Ryan Gosling and George Clooney, saying, "Both were fantastic."
If you happen to run into Sharita roaming the crowded halls, invite her to your next event. We all need a goofball in our lives to relieve everyday stress.
