Study Abroad Scholarships Awarded
In December UCBA awarded more than $20,000 in scholarships to UCBA students who will be participating in 2015 UCBA study abroad programs.
The following students received $1250 UCBA study abroad scholarships: From the Peru Study Abroad Program: Gulshan Chowdery, Brianna Colon, Haley Harrison, and Jean Pierre Ruiz De Castilla Rondon.
From the British Study Abroad Program: Kyla Andrus, Amber Cook, Khemaran Dinh, Christopher Fuentes, Danielle Maraan, Tyler Middleton, Ethan Revis, Gertyra Sherman, and Maile Spencer.
The following students received $625 UCBA study abroad scholarships: From the Peru Study Abroad Program: Joseph Abrams. From the British Study Abroad Program: Seth Cebula, Holli Deems, Courtney Logan, Gina Markovics, and Ashley Yates.
Two students each received $1,000 Christie Study Abroad Scholarships: Marvin Matuke from the Peru Program and Amber Cook from the British Program.
Haley Harrison from the Peru Program was the recipient of the $500 Lee Baker Jr. Study Abroad scholarship, while Khemaran Dinh was the recipient of the $400 John D. and Marjorie E. Sipple Study Abroad Scholarship.
