Feature Student: Brittany Walker
May Your Organs Fail Before Your Dreams Do
Brittany Walker is just starting her long and fruitful career in Radiation Therapy Technology as part of the 2011 incoming Freshman class at UC Blue Ash. Looking to finally start her life in an anticipated 2015 graduation, the Mt Healthian has a long and rough road ahead.
Having moved in her late teens, she graduated from the tiny school of Deer Park, but says it wasn't that hard of a change, being a former catholic student in Hamilton.
As the oldest of five siblings, she is still very "bubbly," with an extrovert type personality. At first she was a little shy, but that goes with anyone who went to small schools, but after a quick couple of minutes, she lit up like a firecracker and I got to see this "bubbly" personality she so described.
Upon graduating, Brittany plans on moving her life to Philadelphia with her Marine boyfriend, whom she has been with for over two years now.
Her friends describe her as both serene and enthusiastic, not easily rattled. She stands head-to-head with the best thoroughbreds. She might say that she is the "blondest brunette you'll ever know," but she is far from ignorant and actually really intelligent.
You can only hope for the best for anyone in such a hard field. Perhaps we should hand her a slice of pizza and a Mountain dew, and maybe she'll make our day a little less droll.
